Are you near George Whites in Swindon?
They have good prices on decent amour down there most weekends, also if you're using the bike for commuting then Textiles is more practical over leathers purely for weather resistance.
Most jackets have decent amour in the shoulder/arm area by default.
I have had a Revit Textile jacket since my first bike, a moped, passed my licence since and now on a 600, the jacket is still in good condition and useable 2 years later...
recomend them but my opinion is bias as I haven't tried other manufacturers.

I have a spada adventure jacket, loads of pockets, some of which are waterproof, and loads of zip open air vents (front, back, sides, down the sleeves etc). Love it.
Totally waterproof and has a huge bum pocket for mobile, wallet, spare gloves etc.
Just dont buy it in white, looks filthy in a matter of weeks. ____________________ TL1000s, KDX200 |

I have a Richa Multi Jacket, I got it discounted for £100. The waterproof/windproof and thermal liners are all good and can be removed, the armour is excellent and did well in my low speed off. It doesn't look too gay either.
The Richa airflow (or whatever they're called) trousers I got to go with it are ropey though. One of the zips broke and the armour is nowhere near as substantial as that in the jacket. They're a completely different grade, nice and cool though.
The above was bought for about £180. ____________________ Triumph Daytona 675 track bike + girlfriend's Honda Hornet 600
