Bargain Bike - For BCF members only - £2000 - Good Project

For sale is my Hyosung GT650R. I originally had this bike for sale just before I went to Europe on it and it was advertised at £3250.

However, halfway across Europe the engine started to make a noise and I decided to stop running the bike and get it sent back home via courier.

The bike still runs ok, but there is something not right with the engine. I am not a mechanic, and am so pissed off with the bike that I am just going to sell it for a silly price for a quick sale - hence the bargain price for BCF members.

At a guess I would say that it may need a new waterpump or a new clutch, however like I said I am no mechanic and it would be better if you came and had a look at it for yourself.

Before I went away on the Euro-tour, I got it serviced, a new waterpump fitted, the front brake pads replaced and a brand new front tyre put on. These parts and labour cost me around £700. All of these parts are lucky if they have done 2000 miles.

The new price for the bike is £2000 !!! Yes, that is all.

In the worst case scenario is that the engine is well and truely fucked, then it wont cost £1250 for a new engine, so you will get a bargain bike even if you need to replace the engine, however I do not think the engine is that badly damaged because the bike still runs ok.

All views welcome, priced for a quick sale. If it doesn't sell soon I am just going to put it through an auction, so pick up a bargain while I am still pissed off with the bike.
