One of my friends recently admitted to me that they prostituted for money a few months back. They were not on drugs, nor were they desperate for money.

Apparently, "everyone has a price". Her's was £50 for a blowjob (spit). Extra's would obviously cost more.
I remember in my 'classy, obedient catholic school'...girls would drop down on their knees for a free fag.

To me, £50 seems too little to give up your dignity. I personally can't see myself ever prostituting (though, I've never been in a desperate situation for me to think about it).

I think prostitution for women and men to discuss is strange as most women think very differently about sex to men.

Most men as said above would love to be able to charge for sex... fact is most the time they would just love to get any.

If your friend can get paid for doing somethign she has no problem with good on her, as long as she's careful etc what difference does it make to a girl being picked up in a nightclub?

Sex is fun... and if its not... well its not being done right!

Someone I care for has been on the game since she was 17 in Torquay. Now nearly 21 and still at it. ( so to speak..)

I don't think it counts as 'prostitution' but I did insist on a girl in Japan paying for the love-hotel we used on a quite regular basis ("no payee, no sex"). She was 17 and mad for it, good looking but had a bit of puppy-fat going on. As I was getting shed-loads elsewhere, from proper stunners, I was damned if I was going to pay Y5000 a session to do this girl what amounted almost to a favour (get me. Large. ).

If I was single (and younger) I'd certainly take money from women to service them, though there would be a hard limit in the looks dept. I certainly wouldn't expect them to be stunners (though lots I've known have complained how hard it's often been to get a seeing to from a guy who knows his stuff) but I'd draw the line at any who made me blanche at the thought of giving head.
