Think it's due to the new tires.. the shiny stuff they chuck on the tires in the dealership to make them look brand new is slippery as fuck.

New tyres not scrubbed in innit.

Chris Red posted a good example of what can happen with new tyres! Canneh find it though.

Not necessarily dealerships...

New tyres in general. Which is why the place I get my tyres changed always says "take it easy" because of the amount of times he's seen riders just riding normal and stacking it.

I always thought the bikes in dealerships looked as if the tires were sprayed with something to make them slightly shiny. Might well be wrong on this point however.

That's because the tyres are new on the new bikes in the dealers. It's the slippy stuff they helps them release the tyres from the mould when they are made.

And that vid is about 3 years old now.
