Went on a ride today with my mate, ended up getting lost (as you do) but found some amazing roads and scenery in the process! The JesusPhone 4's camera is quite impressive imo, some pics came out a bit dodgy though exposure wise. We were sort of near Westgate, not far from Hexham, the idea was to potter around Durham but then I got us lost and I refused to turn back and admit my mistake Turned out to be the right choice.

The last pics were epic, I actually watched the clouds sort of fall :p We were up pretty high, but I didn't think it was that high!

As you go higher up land, the hight at which cloud can form gets lower. I've been up a fair few mountains in wales to find myself in the middle of a cloud. Also went up thailands tallest mountain, 3 times the height of snowdon and in the tropics, great view you would expect? Nah visibility of about 2 meters

Reminds me of when i went to applecross, rode up through the cloud. This was riding down, stopped below the cloud as no point in taking a photo of nothing.

Rings a bell, so I think so! Must of been riding for 30 - 40 miles before I saw a road sign with a name I actually recognised (Hexham).

stunning pics.

i done the same in northern ireland, i took a wrong turn and got a few miles down the road before realising that the junction that should have been there wasnt there. i had a choice, carry on or turn around, i chose to carry on and the rode took me along the side of a glen where a glacier had cut through the scenery and offered some of the best views i had seen in a long time.

sometimes getting lost can be a positive experience.
