You have the same monitor as me. I also get this problem but solve it by being lazy and leaving a dirty plate in my room, this attracts the flys away. Once the fly is on the flame retardant plate i make sure it stays there with the assistance of some deodorant and a lighter. So far this method has proved very successful.

Why do you call a fly with no wings? A walk.

Or failing that a full jam jar with holes punched in the lid. Fly smells jam, walks in, gets stuck, sinks and dies a jammy death. Laughing

Opera pwnes all browsers. Shame it doesn't get the publicity of the mainstream browsers because it deserves it.

+1 for the jam jar thing by the way, sugary water works in it too, punch a few holes through with a pen so that the fly cant come back through because of the pointy jagged bits, then it drowns. Twisted Evil

Also works for wasps, doesn't tend to kill bee's since they are bigger and wont fit through the same hole, bees are made of win so killing should be avoided. Wasps are made of cunt so I dont care.

Building on the jam jar thing, get a disposable plastic cup, a la water cooler, fill it with about 1cm of undiluted squash of your choice, cover with cling film, poke a hole in said cling film and watch the fun commence. We've made a few for barbecues and they catch plenty of flies/wasps etc. Thumbs Up

+1 Opera is the absolute best browser. It beats everything else out there in every way possible (that i've tried, and i've tried most) It's more practical and easier to use and faster and sexier and more customisable than Firefox/Chrome etc. (IE doesn't even deserve a mention).

And a lot of the stuff that Google and Firefox provide now, opera did first, for example the speed dial thing.

Favorite feature is probably the inbuilt bit torrent, makes life so much simpler.

Anyway, this is completely off topic Laughing

Kill flies!

Sorted.
