You'll have a hard time getting it pure since it's used in the clandestine manufacture of crystal meth, and the powers that be are aware of that too, I think you'd even have trouble ordering from a chemical company such as sigma as it will be on a list of items that you need a special licence to order from them.

If, however, you need it for the purpose of say doing an ECA stack, then sudafed tablets contain 60mg per tab, use pro-plus for caffeine source and bog standard aspirin. You can only buy one pack of sudafed at a time though due to the reasons mentioned above. If indeed you are trying to manufacture crystal meth then sudafed, and indeed any pharmaceutical containing ephedrine, is going to give you one huge headache because of the number of excipients added to the tabs in order to stop you doing that very thing, it is possible, but probably costly, time consuming, and a huge pain in the arse.

Oh and the herbal supplement Mu Huang also contains ephedrine, but read the label carefully because they don't always describe properly the dosage contained, I can't remember the exact wording they use but it's something like 'proprietary blend' which can mean there's next to naff all in there.

For weight loss?

Are you wanting something like an ECA stack?

Looks like a fair bit of work to make a homebrew stimulant. An ADHD diagnosis will get you a prescription for ritalin and you'll shed all body fat on that very quickly on that. I went from 13 stone to just over 11 in under 2 weeks. Don't know what my starting body fat %age was to start, but its 7% now.

Yes weight loss but the main thing is the get up and go for the gym sessions. I've been buying 12x50 15mg bottles of ephedrine for £62. They now only do 8mg for the same price. I don't want anything else as I know this works and I don't have any side effects.

Thanks

A trip to the chemists vs. A trip to the doctors, convincing them you have ADHD, getting a prescription for Ritalin....culminating in a trip to the chemist...??

Ghostrider/Robby...how is it that Ritalin which is a stimulant, can help calm people with ADD? It almost doesn't make sense (on a basic level) Confused

Ritalin = Amphetamine.

ADD/ADHD is the condition where the brain is difficult to excite, meaning you are constantly bored. Thus you look for things to do. Given stimulants this raises the basal level of 'excitation', so a small stimulus (ie something tedious) will occupy the mind.

Tis why I did all my exams on heroic levels of speed, which most people could not do. I've actually sat and explained this to my father, who is adamant it's all made up. That should be the definitive test for ADHD in kids. Bung them a fuck load of speed and see if they sit down and pick up a book, or if they start bouncing off the walls.

fuckit, it's what I'll do to my kids Very Happy

Ahh see I thought that the brain of ADD/ADHD person was overly excited anyway....hence the question. I thought that Ritalin was supposed to suppress this overactivity, not stimulate it.

Now I understand. Thank you Bonny. Thumbs Up

There is alternatives to ephedrine.

You could try clenbuterol and T3? If your Training you could throw in a Anabolic in there too... perhaps Winstrol?

Or don't get them diagnosed until they're well into their late teens. Clanger, if you're ADD/ADHD you lack the capacity to concentrate, anything from short spans to total inability. 15 years of school without the capacity to concentrate means you have to rely on other ways to take it in, basically just being very sharp and very intuitive.

Then start on a stimulant after years of that, and you have someone very sharp who can suddenly concentrate and everyone gets very surprised at their performance.

One little niche in it is the ability (without stimulants) to really focus one or two particular things that they're interested in - for me it's mechanical things/how stuff works, never had any trouble with total focus on that. Add stimulants into the mix and I have complete exploded diagrams in my head complete with torque settings and the relevant part of the colour coded wiring diagram.

You're unlikely to get someone with ADD quietly walking around an art gallery taking in pictures though.

EDIT - You get some pretty unusual behaviour when on stimulant based recreational drugs surrounded by normal people on the same ones. You'll find the ADD person wanting to watch a film or read a magazine while everyone else is bouncing off the walls.

Oh yes, exams were fun Laughing I once took a third year exam with a horrific chest infection, and next to no sleep on one nights revision. I sat slobbering in the exam for most of it, until I came up at the end. Wrote a 45 minute (by weighting) essay in 15 minutes, with chicken scratch handwriting at about a 30 degree angle Laughing Got 65% for that mofo bitches Wink

But yeh, I still consider ritalin. I have coping strategies and such for normal life, but I'd like to be able to do work without a looming deadline to inspire me.

Pff

The effect sounds very similar to what a high functioning Aspergers sufferer is like (albeit constantly). It has been said that all people have Aspergers / Autism tendencies, that it's a natural state.

Reading through that post of Killa's, anyone would be inclined to agree ten fold. Cool

A pack of 9 ChestEze costs less than 2 quid. Each one contains 18mg of Ephedrine HCL and 30mg caffeine. They are regulated though and you could only buy one pack at a time, but you'd be about 30 quid for 150 tablets, containing >twice what you're getting at the moment.

EDIT: £2 exactly in boots for a pack of 9, but online pharmacies have them for about £1.50 (unsure on delivery rates). Better bet than sudafed as it contains pseudo(suda)ephedrine(fed) which IIRC isn't as effective as a thermabolic supplement.
