I have a WR125x 2010, only a month old. When i was cleaning it today i spotted a pipe hanging down from just behind the rear brake pedal, (snugly clipped following the engine shape) As i followed the pipe up it went up into the right side panel and i could see the end of, not attached to anything. The end of the pipe hanging down was cut at an angle, so i am not sure if it is a overflow pipe or something. The fact that to top end isn't attached to anything is worrying me!!

Any ideas what this pipe could be? It looks like a 10-15mm rubber hose (black).

I have no real experience with bikes, so any help would be great.

Thanks

Pete

It's probably a breather pipe of some description, either from the engine or the carb.

It's a breather/overflow pipe. It's meant to be there. Nothing to worry about.

What he means though is it's not connected to anything at all.

I wouldn't worry about it. Cable tie the pipe to the bike just so it doesn't fall off.

Follow the pipe back up to the top, then look around in that area, you'll probably see where to reconnect it.
