Are knee sliders on most 2 piece sports style leathers removable? I like the idea of sporty looking leathers but I'm only gonna be getting an sv 650 and as a newbie won't be getting my knee down any time soon so think the whole knee slider thing may look a bit sad...

How much does a helmet bed in over time and how long does it take?

Do you wear trousers under sports fit textile pants?

Most knee sliders are on velcro so you can remove them, I bought leathers without them so I didn't have the fuzzy bit on my knee Shocked

As for your lid, it shouldn't be uncomfortable and it won't bed down that much if it's the right fit. I think what will happen is you will just get used to it - as for time, it's going to depend on how often you wear it!

I don't wear trousers under my textiles, but they are not a sport fit design AFAIK Confused What I have for under my kit are the thermal/cool wear stuff instead. It just means that you get to wash that, rather than end up with sweaty kit and also for under leathers it makes the difference between you being able to get in and out of them without getting a hernia! If the helmet is fitted properly it should be comfortable enough to wear, you will always know your wearing one because its tight against your cheeks, you either get used to it or invest in an open faced one.

Most textiles these days come with a removable inner layer so they can be worn without trousers underneath. If you decide to wear regular clothes under them it might be better to remove the inner layer or you will sweat like micheal jackson in a barney suit.
