Whilst in Cornwall this week, the power plug on my Laptop got pushed into the case and i can't retreive it.
How much do I have to strip to get it out?

I think it is still attached. I don't want to get raped at PC world or anywhere like that.

Cheers.

Do you mean the socket?

A customer of mine did that once by knocking the laptop to the floor and it landing on the power connector.

It sheared the connector from the motherboard. It was cheaper to get a new laptop than have the motherboard replaced.

There are plenty of places especially in London that do component repair. Shouldn't be more than £100.

Somewhere like this.
