Ear plugs

I know there's been a few post on here thy I have read through, but I was considering gett some of these diy ear plugs. They look ok and seem easy enough to do. Just wondered if anyone had tried them. They seem pretty cheap considering they will be a custom fit (as long as u get a good seal while making them).

I would plan to use them on the bike and possible for sleep. Especially as I'm a light sleeper and have an over plane journey to hong kong next month.

If you want something like that shape would reccomend Docs Pro plugs. Lots of different sizes and once you have the right one they fit really well.
Are vented as well so you can still hear people talk a bit and you don't get the whole feeling like you have an uncomfortable vaccum in your ear canal.

I did look at those. I assume you have used them before and rate them? Those are preformed though so would need to go through a couple to find the right fit. And I'm guessing vented means it's got a hole in it. Cheers

Yep is a tiny 1 way hole thing for the vent.

Used them loads and never failed me.

Friends have them/also tried most loved them and only a few didn't like them so is a case of try them and see really...

Apart from the moulded ear plugs, I have tried about every single type of ear defender or plug out there, and to be fair I find the max ear plugs with the chord the best, tried all the noise cancelling stuff, but still not for me.

Sadly the best ear protection I have found is a set of Napier pro 9s IIRC, excellent at noise cancellation, but you couldn't use them on a bike, you wouldn't get your lid on, excellent for shooting though.


But the max ear plugs, seem to be spongier and a lot wider than most ear plugs, so if you get them in your ear correctly, I find they work perfectly, and they are only 49p

I have made to measure ear plugs, wouldn't go back to any other.
