Following on from another thread, these seem to come highly recommended. However, I have a question.
My bike has a scottoiler fitted, but so far I have not used it as I can't work out how to get the oil in! It seems there is a tiny hole at the top of the reservoir, and some sort of injection is necessary to do anything with it.
Any tips or hints please guys? My bike has no main stand so lifting it up to spin the back wheel when lubing the chain is a real pisser of a job........ ____________________ Sod falling in love, I wanna fall in chocolate. |

Attach tube to bottle of oil, insert end of tube in hole, squeeze. |

Aha, this will be the problem then, as I bought the bike complete with scottoiler but no oil bottle or tube. Will now get googling to see if I can pick up the bits I am missing!
Thanks for your help. ____________________ Sod falling in love, I wanna fall in chocolate. |

Remember you need to prime it once you have filled it. You connect the bottle and tube to the end of the rubber bit on the side of the oiler (unplug the filtery bit). With the knob turned to MAX or PRIME, squeeze the bottle, you will see oil start moving along the delivery pipe, once it has started to drip out onto the chain, disconnect the squeezy bottle and reset your knob to the desired level.

Provisionally booked for the 11th of August to get mine fitted.
Diesel seems very happy with hers, although she does like these wee maintenece things she can do herself.
It was hell when she first got her digital tyre pressure reader
But fair play to her for looking after her bike/baby, and washing it regularly etc.
