Anyone had experience with Moto-liner?

Hi

If done properly it should be fine with a steel frame. However with the Hornet frame (square section fabricated backbone from memory) there is probably a fair chance of it buckling which would probably write it off.

All the best

Keith

I've got 2 hornets one in bits and one I just crashed. Both with knackered frames. I might put it back together and see if it rides ok.....

The 16 inch front doesn't make the bike any less stable than on a 17.

Motoliners straightened G's 675 frame when he pranged it. He doesn't remember this cos he was on drugs.

Seemed to do a good job, it's straight now. I know they get used by some racing folks who should know what they're talking about, so worth getting a price I guess.

it does at speed. A HUGE difference. take a corner at 100 with my 16" and the front would start to wobble and feel like it was tryinf to dive away from me. with the 17" it is just glued and i can do it 10-20mph faster

Meh, I've used both and never had any of the issues you describe.

I'd be checking stuff like suspension and head bearings if my bikes was behaving like that.

They both like to skip around occasionally, but never out of control.

i had it all checked even got new disks as one was slightly warped. the difference is crazzy. i liked the 16" for low speed (60ish) flicking around but the 17" i find better for silly speeds on the welsh roads. aslo it might be down to the rubber you can put on a 16 vs a 17

had some avon sports tyres on the 16" and now pilot powers on the 17 .

also with the 16" when i rode it full power home it tank slaped like a Biatch when i hit a few cats eyes on full throttle
