I got the socket set from them, which is a good set, bar the wrenches .. 35 quid ... they may be OK for the price ..
I've got excess to expensive tools if need be, these are just for at home .. ____________________ Fuk um !! |

Ahh bugger it,
spend a little more and get some tools that will last you!
I am exactly the kind of person that would have jumped at this kind of thing although many moons ago my brother who used to work in on aircraft brought me a pukker set of sockets/spanners and such and till this day i have never needed to use anything else.
The are in fantastic nick, dont ever seem them failing me, the rachet has never missed a beat and is as tight as ever...
I guess it took a few years and i'm still a little partial to buying cheap versions of things i use one off or very very rarely but for something your going to use plenty, invest the extra few bucks
Although... saying that, i am on the lookout for a cheap tourque wrench as i have an engine to put rebuild from scratch and may be doing an engine swap in a car and thats about it lol
Best regards

The digital caliper will be accurate to 0.1 and will last if you take care of it. You only need the expensive ones if you're a precision engineer.
There's f'all to go wrong with cheap spanners, they're usually pretty good unless they're being handed out for free.
Socket sets will last a while if you're not using them all the time and using the ratchet for torquing or breaking. The sockets themselves are made from cheese and will eat themselves after a while.
The pillar drill will work but it will be a pain in the ass when the belt constantly slips when drilling steel larger than 6mm. Just gotta work slower than a proper drill. ____________________ Go back to bed - You have no rights - "Streetfighters ~ Mainstream motorcycling's crackwhore sister." |

I never listed the other things you menstion ...
I'm hoping the spanners will be OK ... not sure the screwdrivers are worth 7 quid though, i have a few already ...
Sockets cheese ... the sockets i have 35 lidl ones are good and are reconised as the same as another good set of sockets .. the rachets apparently are not so good ..
