Just seen this linked while checking out Lamborghini's old bike from the 80's.

https://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee81/paddy2007dug/Lambo.jpg

Not much written about it, the same quote is used on most sites:

Quote:
Romanian designer Laurentiu Trifescu visualizes how a Lamborghini superbike could look like if the Italian supercar maker would ever consider producing one.

The name Caramelo comes, like in the case of most Lambo products, from a famous Spanish bull. This defeated a lion and a tiger in the Madrid arena in 1877. The animal’s courage and strength impressed the audience so much that they yelled for it to be spared and his name is remembered to this day.

Following the true Italian spirit, the Caramelo is supposed to be a superbike built on a tubular steel frame with single-sided swingarm and powered by a powerful 1000cc V4 engine. The design meets the edge style of the Murcielago and Gallardo and it is characterized by angular lines and cleaner surfaces.

I doubt it would ever go ahead but I wonder if any of the top end car marques could bring out a bike that would compete with the current super bikes without any help from another manufacturer?

Either way I'm sure if Lamborghini really did bring out another bike it would sit and look pretty somewhere and never actually get ridden Laughing

Looks nice enough, but a bit too much like a KTM RC8.

Isn't that the same swingarm as the 1198?

It is indeed the same swingarm.

Basically this guy has just photoshopped a load of bike bits together and called it a Lamborghini.

The front brake, wheel, frame etc are all from that ducati. I wouldn't be surprised to see a lambo bike, but i would expect it to be something like a restyled ducati. They could slap on a logo & body kit and sell it for 5 times the price. Might seem like a stupid idea, but there was a time when the idea of the tractor manufacturer making a sports car was laughable too!

I think he's done a very good job on the styling of the bodywork though, looks very sharp and inkeeping.

Actually, take a good look at the fairing, I'm pretty sure it is just a distorted murcielago bonnet/lights Laughing
