1981 Vespa Douglas (Original and unrusty)

I bought this a few months back as a toy. But i'm having trouble keeping it running, not sure if it needs a new carb, as i've rewired the stator plate put a new coil on, new points, condensor, cleaned lots of electrical contacts everywhere. I had it running fine and got the mot, then let the wife ride it around a car park to see if she wanted to do a cbt, after about 40 mins it began running roughly and i had to walk it home. Not sure what's up and can't really be bothered with it now as i have a boat that's taking all my time. As mentioned probably needs a new carb (£45) or a little tinkering.
So it has about a 9 month mot and tax. IT's genuine chassis and engine and standard bike. IT's a p125x Vespa Douglas, All the paperwork matches the bike. Just needs someone with a little more time and commitment than i have.
