Starter motor for nsr!

Hi guys, i've got a problem with the starter motor on my bike and need it replaced. I've found a couple available online but they're all from older models of the bike like 93 nsr 125R-K.

I wonder if anyone can tell me if this starter motor will fit my 2000 RR model?

And before anyone asks i'm sure it's the starter motor as i've replaced the battery and starter relay and have taken the starter motor apart and its defo dead!

ps. i didn't mention but my bike is a honda nsr 125 yr2000!

all starters are the same . instead of spending £60+ to change your starter why dont you repair it . 99% of the time it's a brushers & spring problem or a clogged comutator on the rotor

you need :
- 1 set of brushers 32101KY4901
- 2 springs 31204KG8004
- 1 Oring 31309KG8004

I will second that,
The starter on my 2001 NSR125 seemed pretty foo-bar, went through alains doc and used the manual for reference and it was pretty straight forward.

What exactly did you find when you took the starter appart?

managed to fix my starter with nothing more than the spring from a pen cut in half Razz

true true, but the spring was stronger than the stock one, and the brushes have a lot of life left in them, not too much can be bad about a spring!!

if spring is too hard you will dig you comutator , then the starter is worn !!
