The stock sizes for the Bandit 600 MK 1 are;

150/70/17 and 110/70/17.

My question is, will it be ok to go up to;

160/60/17 and 120/70/17

with no issues?

Ive asked on another forum an had mixed feedback. The larger size became standard on the MK 2 bandit, but I dont want to fork out for new tyres and find they are crap.

Cheers!

I had 110 and 150 on my hyosung.

Popped 120 and 160 on there... No issues, but had a iffy speedo afterwards.. A suspect a speedo healer may work

I squeezed a 180 rear onto a fazer600. Wasn't easy to get it seated properly but it went eventually with a good dose of lube.

It's great Very Happy i feel more confident, bike handles better and i think i can get lower. Not had any problems yet, tyre fitter said the front was a pain to get the bead to seat.
