I've seen a fair few huskys too. I don't think the owners know what they are getting themselves in for - I think that they just want a fashion accessory to match their sunday market fleece-with-a-wolf-howling-at-the-moon-jacket and their shite american indian tats.
It's annoying the reputations that staffordshires have got. As with the right training they are one of the most well behaved, obedient dogs you can have. Our dag has to put up with a five year old leaning/pulling/annoying it and he (the dag) doesn't bat an eyelid - they are called 'nanny dogs' for a reason.
Just look at all the staffies that need rehoming:
https://www.scottishspca.org/rehoming/category/dogs
So what have we learned? That people are cunts. |

Oh I do hope that's not the case.
My boyfriend has a beautiful half husky/half lab which he brought back from Spain nearly 3 years ago ... ahhh, she's beautiful.
Lovely soft fur and a very good nature
Although she doesn't like being locked out of my bedroom, haha, apparently she's used to getting IN THE BED which I disapproved mightily of, so she sat at the bedroom door/window and whined for hours till I had finished with him
THEN I let her in
THEN I let him let her on the bed (eventually)
But no way was I going to let her push her way in between him and me.
NO. WAY.

I hope not too.
I've noticed a lot more Husky type dogs recently, but I must say I've not really seen them with chavvy owners, the chavs still have Staffies around here.
It really is a shame what has happened with Staffies. There was a Panorama program a few weeks ago about abandoned dogs, they went to a dogs home and 8 out of 10 dogs were Staffies/Staffie X. Not only that, they actually showed them putting down perfectly healthy dogs in a garage behind the vet's surgery (as it was too upsetting for the staff to see), then putting them in a bag and into the bin .
It's criminal how these dogs are (mis)treated, really boils my piss. |

My sister has two.
Lovely dogs, only down side is that she needs to hoover at least twice a day now with the malting.
Recently she has been getting more and more hassle from other dog owners down the park. They simply do not want her dogs near theres due to them looking 'scarey' and like a pack of wolves One guy called the police on the dogs because of the above.
I love em to bits - but would never own one let alone two |

Huskies and associated dogs should never of been brought into the country. Our climate does not suit them, they are used to artic conditions, pack animals, they were never supposed to be tamed and used as pets.
Britian, suprisingly is too hot for them, even in our coldest winters, they're fur is much much too thick, they pant continuously and their life expectancy is shortened drastically, alot die prematurely of dehydration.
Artic explorers do not treat them as pets, they treat them as animals, if they start fighting then the explorer will beat them down to show authority, dog owners will gasp and scream abuse but that is how its supposed to be.
I doubt very much that chavs will take huskies on as pets, there dogs are for show and for fighting other dogs/animals, a huskie/similar breed dog are not really that sort of animal, regardless of training, a pitbull will do alot more damage than a huskie ever could. ____________________ Bringing Classic Bikes Back Into Fashion

if you applied some common sense to your think you could have answered all your own questions
| warped one wrote: | How does expense come into it? |
bull bred's are a lot cheaper, and easier to get hold of then a husky.
why would you spend more money on a dog then you have to?
they are hardly animal lovers buying the dog out of love for the breed
| warped one wrote: | The little shits will just mugmore people to get them. And when the name has been slurred, the price will drop to the floor. |
husky pup average £500, staff pup average £150
| warped one wrote: | Why don't they go for useless breads like terriers or chawawaas (sp?) |
i dont know maybe because there are not threating looking dogs | Misc wrote: |
I didn't say they attacked people, |
i didn't say you did
| Misc wrote: |
why wouldn't you believe dogs are used to mug people? You don't need the worry of carrying a knife & you have a weapon that isn't illegal. |
again i didn't say i didn't "believe" it occurs.
but i do i live in Peckham, and have lived in London all my life, so i see with my own eyes that you are more likely to get held up with a knife then a dog
(check the stats)
| Misc wrote: | The lengths some people will go to mug someone is ridiculous so not unbelievable in inner London. |
if you own a dog your self, your not likely to be scared of somebody else's, and as the majority of London's lovely youngsters trouble each other, a dog isn't a very far length to go
| Misc wrote: | but you're telling me that if there' a group of chavs mugging someone, they're not going to let the dog jump up & intimidate the victim? |
i didn't say that it doesn't/cant happen i said what was more likely, plus you can conceal a knife,i don't think the dog will fit in your pocket
| Misc wrote: | And like above, the cost is irrelevant. , |
see the above
| Misc wrote: | you could pick one up for a bag of weed probably. |
care to find me a example? ____________________ they say the good die young... i say we just live faster |

Fair enough.
But for the last quote, that was a bit of an exaggeration but wouldn't surprise me if they 'exchanged' the pups for something or equivalent value (between friends obviously) Not a registered breeder.
If you haven't seen the programme yet (on Youtube) it's worth a watch. |

Came across this video whilst searching for the one i've originally seen. It amazes me, & these scummy fucks are in their own little world.
Really surprised me when people have to be given 'clearance' to walk in certain public areas!
This is the programme i was on about it's got 6 parts, more in the sidebar.
It's a shame it's not going to get better any time soon. |
