I should have started this earlier when I bought the bike so I could have updated you as I went along but there's plenty more to come.

Ok so I recently bought Marsh's Typh, rode it with the standard engine in for a while but I've recently put in the other 172 Psn engine in which I also bought.

The spec

Gilera Runner 180 engine (flowed)
Malossi 172 kit (ported 26bhp)
Malossi 52mm crank
Malossi variator
Malossi kevlar belt
Malossi torque driver
180 gears
Malossi secondary gear up
Bored out Polini reedblock
Delloroto 25mm carb
Polini inlet manifold
Ram air filter
Chrome PM59
TSAB

Malossi F32 forks
Malossi oversize floating disc
Black wheels with chrome inner and outer lip
Gilera Ice bars
Typhoon clocks
Gilera Ice switches
Chrome bar ends
Custom mounting rods for a cut down Gilera Runner screen
Panel mounted indicators
Custom cut front panel
Paint job based on Joey Dunlop's helmet
Hel braided hoses

A couple pictures of how the bike stood when I bought it

Cleaned up the Pm59

Bought a few more bits to go on along with a Tsab

I cleaned up the Psn engine ready to go in, wanted something a bit different so I went for matte black

Ok so the engine went in the other day along with the Pm59, Tsab, undertray and Ice bracket.
Sorry for the bad quality pictures, the panels came out looking really pale but you can see the actual color in picture 4.

Got some Malossi fork adaptors so this is how it is now with a mudguard

Thanks, I appreciate it. If I'm being honest I'm not keen on all scooters except the old shape 2 stroke Runner 125's+ and these.

I haven't been able to get it on the road properly yet. I had a 21bhp Runner and that produced 119mph on the dyno. I hope that puts things into perspective. Obviously dyno speed and then clock speed on the road doesn't mean anything but I'm all for torque and acceleration town riding anyway.

I'll probably be changing to a 125 gears with a Malossi secondary gear up to liven things up even more.

Dare you ask what?

Yes you're right. It's just a thing the company do after they have dyno a customer's bike. This bike is 26bhp with that barrel and all of the other things on it including case work.

Brakes are good if I'm being honest.

Yeah you tend to get speed wobble after 80mph or so depending on wind.

As I said, I do all town riding so that isn't a problem.

Nice

Keep it safe otherwise it WILL be nicked.

Also, your mounting for the front mudguard is off, check the holes both sides Wink Would look better if it had both in, but IMO I wouldn't have the mudguard on there.

Ok bit of an update, I've got a chrome Bgm stem, show chromed Str8 bars, Koso RS Dyno clocks and a carbon fibre flywheel cover.
I'll definitely keep the clocks but I'm still undecided about the bars.

Just need to finish tidying the wires.

Also got some SRT lightened parts to put on.

Still not there yet, few more suprises to come. Videos will come when I've finished playing with clutch springs within the next few days.

Looks like great fun. I bet the front end is hard to keep down? What was the reason for the change of wheels? Those standard off road looking things are awesome. Laughing

I'm not keen on them to be honest, remind me of exactly what you said- an off road bike every time I see them lol.

Yeah the front wheel loves being up in the air, can wheelie it off the power up to 45mph.
