I will shortly need a new front tyre for my 98 Bandit 600.
I know everyone will have their favourite tyres, but what would be the best allrounder for the bike? I currently have a Michelin Pilot on the back, which does not need replacing yet and did not know if it's best to keep a matched pair on.

I currently have a Michelin pilot power front and a pirelli angel st rear, the matching front is waiting to go on - IMO a mismatch is fine, I haven't had any issues, both wheels feel stable.

The two compound pirelli angel ST has been really good too, a ghey angel on it that wears off but otherwise I can't fault it.
