I have just bought an RXS100 and have noticed that the oil light is on when the engine is running but goes out when it is in gear, as does neutral light. Is this correct? If so then is the oil light for the level in the oil tank? Sorry if this sounds petty but this is my first 2 stroke.

That is correct. You need to check the 2 stroke it if the light stays on all the time. Thumbs Up

Yep, the oil light comes on with the bike in neutral to verify it's working.
