It's the second time you have asked for this help.

You should have done a search mate Wink

but as I'm a nice guy, and didn't want the length of time I spent typing my guide out go to waste, I thought I'd point you in the right direction.

"Lifesavers are also required on some left turns where other two-wheeled traffic needs to be considered, and on roundabouts"

Just out of curiousity i never do a life saver at a roundabout i might glance in the mirrors and maybe to my left or right but im normally watching the incoming traffic to my right and also if there is traffic coming onto the roundabout at the next turn of/on.

I would find it very difficult getting onto some roundabouts in the morning as the traffic is pretty much constant sometimes you've only got a second or 2 to get out and away if i had to make a life saver as well as checking in front of me i think i'd be there till lunch.

by the way excellent post slavo i don't even think my instructor would have known all that!

Think he means when turning left at a roundabout.
If there is a cycle lane or a gap to your left which a bike would be able to sneak into then you need to look there before turning left accross its path.

You should never need to consider a bike being there as your road position should be such as to allow plenty of room for a bike to pass to your right, and no leaving enough room for one to come past of your left.
The only time you ever really need do it is if there is a cycle lane to your left in which case you can going to need to check that a cyclist isnt undertaking you or filtering to the front to one of them cyclist box thingys
