What rammy said, although i found it a bit too far forward for me but that's probably because I'm used to my more upright CBR which i originally found too upright compared to my NC30 previously, i'd say you'll probably get used to the position as its not uncomfortable just a bit more focused. Feels very smooth and mega easy to go quick on as well.

Had mine since Friday and I am in love

You get used to the riding position pretty quick, I am 5ft11 and 12.5 stone. I commute on mine 12 miles each way and its effortless, like I said on Shaanes thread the extra mid range is nice, no need to wring its neck to get to places and the bike just rides itself, cornering is easy, the ride is smooth as well! In fact too smooth when I picked it up from Lincoln I was on my way back down the A1 at one point I looked at the clocks and I was doing 120 and hadn't even noticed!

I love mine, mega bike. Never let me down at all. The riding position as said is very roomy, albeit it is wrist orientated (I have made mine uncomfortable, with lower wider clip ons and higher rearsets, the turn in is electric now though), but you should have no problems with comfort as long as you remember its a sportsbike. I am 6"1 thereabouts, and very lanky, and I am fine.

It he C1H any better then the B1H in terms of comfort? I think i'm the only one that found the 636 unbearable. The seating seems to slope down, my other bikes had horizontal seats that didn't force you against the tank.

Maybe it's just because i'm tall.

The c1h is one of the 4 or 5 bikes im considering at the minute. They are nice but the obese back end and the fact you cant get a nice looking exhaust for them (apart from the standard can) puts me off every time I look at them. IF i can get past that small matter I may well get one.

Rac3r I had a C6F and I found the position a bit extreme as it is a tiny little bike! Prob no worse than its contemporaries but even now sitting on my mates 09 6r they are very tiny. That is of benefit though because on the push they handle like a dream, razor sharp and every performance dept is well stocked. My biggest gripe was the ringing screaminess of it all, it made going to work a chore at times. It wasnt built for pootling and its still a six so needs wringing to a certain extent!

The seat is arse bleedingly narrow and numb bum inducing on anything but short rides too! Im 5'8" and was 11st at the time!

Overall a fsntastic bike but a compromise for sure, definately worth a test ride!
