Source Odd Size Big Spanner

I need a big spanner to do my wheel nuts, for adjusting chain and for travel toolkit ..

Now i beleive my nut size to be 25.4 mm or a inch .. same thing, but halfords don't do one ... uless this one will do ..

It's a 125 cc cagiva ... it would be a often used tool ... the nut is as near as dammit .. an inch wide ... found this one, but 20 quid is a bit much ..

The one inch socket was the only one that seemed to fit, the socket set i have now does not have One inch socket ..

Front and rear nut is the same btw ...

I don't know what's best .. spanner or socket ...

24mm is a more standard rear axle nut size.

Yes, the bike is of Italian Origen, i'm guessing most bikes over there have one inch nut, perhaps ducatos do, perhaps i'm totally wrong ..

I'll look into the make of the spanner from ebay, if it's well worth 20 quid, i may buy it ...

Gona look at some inch socket prices now too ..

I know the feeling, bloody Suzuki use a 36mm nut on the rear wheel! No one I know has a 36mm spanner or socket, so I had to get one off eBay.

It's more likely a 24mm than a 25mm. I have never, ever needed to use a 25mm socket. It won't be an imperial nut, not on a European bike.

Measure it with a vernier caliper, then go to local engineering supplies give them size and they will swap ££ for a suitably sized socket/spanner.
