Im Worried as ive heard some really bad stories about bikes running lean theres a shot of my plug below

Will the heavy carbonm deposits do damage ?

mine looks exactly the same as mine from my XR125! its done 21k with no problems. Iv had it since 9k as well and the plug/s has never changed colour!

a little dirty but looks the right colour to me.

Give it a brushing down with a copper brush, put it back in and go for a ride and leave the bike to cool, then check the colour it should be a nice coffie brown.

That's not running lean, slightly rich I'd say.

i was thinking a latte sort of colour

i suppose digestive is a good way of putting it but id say its more between digestive and rich tea?
