I'm trying to sell my EN125 and buy my first big bike and was wondering what the opinions there are out there regarding the best ways to do both.

I have the EN on Autotrader and Gumtree so far - is it worth putting on eBay at this stage? I had a guy interested in the bike but he called tonight and said he'd changed his mind. Apart from that, nothing!

As for buying, again, it's the same three with Pistonheads chucked in. Are there other decent sites to buy bikes?

Thanks in advance folks

WB

It's £15 for an eBay classified ad, so it depends on how much you want to spend to get the sale. I listed a scooter for a mate a while back, and listed it in eBay, BikeTrader and MCN. He had a pile of offers from eBay long before the other ads even got listed, and got the full asking price in a couple of days.

Don't put a 0.99p price as this will attract tyre kickers and especially dreamers.

See the 'sticky' thread at the top of the forum, the one entitled 'Useful threads - check here first!'? Check there Wink.
There's a thread linked from there called 'Where to buy/sell bikes'!
