One last question,
Some of the mounting brackets between the top/lower fairing at the front of my NSr have broken off and later i'm planning the try and span this gap of missing plastic with fibre glass.

I have bought a fibre glassing kit and some finer wool (stuff with the kit is very course so figured something a little finer would work out better) and was thinking that some people that it's doomed to fall off in 5 minutes flat, others sware by it but what about using another compound, maybe a layer of glue of sorts that could work as an intermediate layer between the plastic and fibreglass?

Sand the area down, throw something on and then F-G over it?

Any thoughts would be much appreciated on the matter, best regards

Inbetween the fiberglass you could put a layer of woven fabric, we use it at work, it's usually white and they are very strong after it's cured.

when making things like seats and stuff, i usually use 1 layer of 450gram fiberglass, then a layer of fabric and then another layer of 450gram fiberglass
