So on the second time around I passed my mod 2 so happy especially with how shite the weather was today, and managed to pass with two minors which I'm chuffed with Very Happy

Just need to go out and get me a big bike now, but not sure what to get. Right now its between an SV or Hornet

If any one wants to shed some light on either would be helpful, although it will probably come down to what I can find locally at what prices.

Well, seems i have a few similarities to you.

I failed my Mod 2 today, and own a Hornet, and WANT to pass it second time Razz

Generally get a newer SV for less Money, but the riding position is harsher, and i don't like the looks as much, which is why i went for the hornet.

Sorry to hear about your mod 2, what did you fail on?

Its more engine wise thats going to make my decision weather I want a lazy (or what I would guess would be lazy) V-twin or a revvy (well compared to SV) inline 4

And would look to get a newer SV although I would rather the naked one than a half faired or fully faired one so doesnt matter too much

Well, coming from a 2 stroke im used to everything being top end, so the IL4 it was for me.

Failed on being too close to cars when sat at junctions/in traffic, apparently should of waited for a pedestrian who turned around, and should of waited for a learner who pulled around cars when i was already at the cars and had right of way?

Anyway, congrats, i'd go Hornet Thumbs Up

ahh one of the reasons I failed first time was because of coming to a parked car and went around it and met another car in the middle but was my fault lol

If it was just for those things then im sure you will be fine second time around

And I think I am swaying towards a Hornet, I'm going to a bike shops tomorrow and will have a sit on some and see what I like
