Hey, boring one here lol.

Ever since i got this bike there has been a delay on the indicators. The front are not stock and the back are LED with in line do hickys to keep the flash rate constant.
I got a new battery and changed the reg so the electrics are a healthy 12.5+ at all times and the indicators still have a delay from flicking the stick to them coming on...

Its getting anoying as i want to get round to doing my full test but dont think i'll have the confidence when there is a delay of up to 5-6 seconds some times which means some times i end up indicating to early or to late Neutral

One thing i noticed is occasionally if i go directly from indicating from one direction to the other they will switch without any delay but if i stop and then indicate in the other direction there will be a delay Neutral

Cant say i'm to hot on electrics so have no idea where to start looking.

Only other thought is there seems to be a randomly long cable going to the back indicators where i think who ever put the LED indicators on just stuck the cables for it onto the existing cables lengthining it quiet a bit.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Best regards

I'd try changing the indicator relay. There has to be movement inside it to switch the current and maybe it's getting worn out - takes a while to start moving from cold (happens to the best of us!).

Or put stock indicators back on, at least for the test.

Either get std ones all round or led all round. At least that way you can swop out the relay and rule out that problem.
Might be also worth while giving the switch a good clean out.
