Reflective sticker for bike helmet.

I'm after a sheet of reflective tape that I can cut to my own design to stick on my bike helmet. Any advice on whats good/suitable and where to get it from?

I wouldn't put any stickers on a lid. I was always under the impression that lids have two functions, one to be slippery so that they slide along the road and the second was to crumple in a way to absorb any impact. Stickers may affect the lids capability to work.

There seems to be two opinions on this.

When I bought my helmet it came with a piece of paper saying to NEVER stick anything on it because the adhesive hinders the protective quality of the helmet or something. And never to spray/paint helmets for the same reason. Although I believe it is possible if the paint doesn't contain Xylene? Or something like that, never really looked into it.

A quick google search did however reveal some sticky reflective things that the Americans stick on helmets. But obviously anybody of the above opinion wouldn't use them.

If you want my two cents mate, I'd stick some retroreflective circles or something, on your bike. And just get a bright white/orange helmet.

EDIT: Adverts at the bottom, buy it now £1.99, that kind of stuff would do nicely I assume.

Probably cost less than cost of sheet of reflective vinyl.
I did these reflective blue ones for my pan euro.

When i got it there was blue pole light, red flashers on the back, flashers on the front.
I took it all off and ebayed it, don't wear reflective vest and got furry devil on my lid so anyone with eyesight better than 50 metres can see i'm not plod

I used this: https://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcycles/stickers-decals/motorcycle-reflective-tape-kit.htm - the black version on my black helmet. Mainly to cover up scratches on it, tbh.

I also have used some really thick reflective tape, proper red and yellow stuff you'd put on vehicles, but I've no idea where it came from. Made pretty flowers on G's lid with it.

You won't get pulled for having reflective colours on your bike, if you had the lights then it's another story.
