Or it's just fucking disgusting to find it in your food.

I'm sure if you found one, you'd carry one eating?

Um, i found a snail on my green beans. I washed them and ate them, released the snail in the garden.

I hope you released the insect.

To be fair, he was quite crunchy although didn't crack his shell, he's about 2cm long. Similar to a wood lice but with a diamond shape back & yellowish underbelly, small head & 2 things pointing from the bottom.

I can with out hesitation or embarassment say, if I found such an animal in the food I was eating, I'd hit the fucking roof and stay there until someone braver than I removed the offending wildlife.

Thumbs Up

That was a guesstimate, just measured him properly & he's 1.5cm long (quite a bit off i know). Still, it's not very nice seeing something you don't even know, or knowing if it's from this country!

Oh right, you're still talking about the insect.

Sorry, I thought you'd digressed.

I once found a dead ant in a tin of tesco baked beans.

And I know somebody who found a caterpillar or something in an apple? But I suppose that's not so uncommon.

If I were you I'd bin the lot, or just be realllllly careful about what else could be lingering in there.

Well one thing's for sure, i won't be eating at Tesco's again (not for Tuna/Rice anyway) I'm sure all supermarkets use similar processing with food but i'll be forever searching through my food if i shopped there again.

Looks like a Shield Bug to me, they emit a nasty smelling liquid if you disturb them (or half eat them) so don't go breathing on anyone for a while.

I did think i had a strange taste in my mouth, i've been washing it out for ages. I thought it was just me being paranoid.

Thanks. Thumbs Up Laughing

That is pretty disgusting. The thing i hate most about this is the fact i'm going to be paranoid about everything i eat.

Still, nothing beats eating a human hair.

I poured a glass of milk (cravendale semi-skinned) and a spider with the leg span of about 3 inches popped out (albeit a tiny body)

It was still alive.

Tbf that is pretty nasty to be finding in one's food. To actually have it in your mouth is many, many times worse.

I'd be making a complaint to Tesco and threatening the papers. You'll be getting free shopping for some time...
