THE BULLDOG BASH DEBUT OF
- "THE ROCKET BIKE"
Eric Tebouls rocket powered motorcycle is capable of the first 5 second run outside the USA!
This is potentially the fastest bike on the face of the planet!!!!
The fuel is HYDROGEN PEROXIDE, and once he sets off, if he wants to stop, TOUGH! it turns off when the fuel runs out! Eric is new to this track, so only expect him do do half a run - His current half track time is 3.68secs @217.53mph

Now that does sound interesting.

Is that a quarter mile run or what type of run? 217mph in 3 seconds. Sounds frightening.

It is indeed over a quarter of a mile. Shocked

Last year they had rocket cars and other good stuff to watch, but that bike will definitely be worth watching. Cool Thumbs Up

They said '1/2 track', so that was the 1/8 mile.

I think the fastest quarter mile so far is 'Vanishing point' in 3.58 seconds at 386 mph. They do mention the 'first 5 second run outside the USA' which would suggest they aren't getting under 5 secs.

Still damn impressive for a bike though.

I believe it is meaning the first bike to do a 5 sec run outside of the USA. Rather than the first time it's been done at BDB.

It would be quite interesting to see what would happen if we could stick some wings on it. Laughing

Messerschmit 163 anyone?

The rocket bike is definitely worth seeing. Eric Teboul is a seriously mad chap - after all, it's like sitting on a very large bomb. If something goes wrong then Monsieur Teboul is going with it.
