rigging up a dvd player to motorbike battery

hi there, i know its a wierd thing to ask but can a portible dvd player that is connected to power by connecting it to a car battery via the ciggarette lighter, be rigged up to a motorbike 12v battery, i just wanted to know if you could cut the plug off and connect it that way, cheers Wink

You can get cig lighters for bikes, connect that up via a relay and you be set Thumbs Up

Would you just be able to chop the end off and connect one wire to the positive and one to the negative, not really fussed about a fuse even tho i no i probly should, anyways yeah is it just as simple as that? cheers

A lot easier to wire a cig lighter up and then have the option of being able to remove the dvd player easily. Rather than having to mess around taking the battery terminal apart every time.

yeah thats a better idea acctually, cos there only cheap any it saves me cutting the wire of the dvd player, so that i can still use them as normal, anyway cheers
