must admit when the bike comes out...it really comes out, on average our ride outs are not less than 300 miles or 3 tanks of fuel..ok i will do the occasional sort blast in the evening (say up to Harley's Diner/M&P near Oxford) but we mainly do mid Wales or round Worcs or Lincs etc...

I usually ride to work & back.

On my own time, i'll quite often pop on to the back roads around the area, most of which i'd consider to be a bikers dream road.

Do pop into Brighton quite regularly because i love watching my friends face when I filter past him whilst he's stuck in traffic driving his cage.

I hope you don't have to try them out, maybe try them on? Wink

I sometimes go to Devils Bridge but too many coppers and too many idiots coming round blind corners on the wrong side of the road for my liking. Cracking bacon butties though.

I like to get up to the North of Scotland as often as I can, better roads and you can ride how you want without upsetting anyone.

Chelmsford, Essex to London and back again every day.

For fun I take my wife on the back and we spend a few weekends a year either B&B in Wales, or down towards Stonehenge.

And at weekends I find excuses to pop down to Burnham. Very Happy

I ride the 10 miles to Tunstall when I go to Mcjam's house which is a good road for me to practice on.

For fun I go up to the Cat and Fiddle (well if I'm gonna ride I may as well do it with style!) as it's only 15 mins away from me.

I need to get out more on my bike!! Razz

I usually ride out to Edinburgh and do some costal roads if I'm on my own. If I'm on a rideout with the other guys then it's usually up to Callendar and beyond.

Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey, Kent.
Brilliants biking roads if you can get up early enough to beat the cages.
And early evenings while they're indoors vegetating in front of Corrie!

Sussex and Surrey have some of the best back roads for scratching - you've just gotta know where to look.

I prefer to ride solo, I want my mind clear to concentrate on the bike and road, not worrying if I'm going too fast for the bike behind, or overstretching myself trying to keep up with the guy in front!

What an adrenalin buzz - beats booze'n'smokes - and nearly, but not quite, sex!!!!

On the roads normally, there's something worng if I'm not! Laughing
Ok - someone had to say it! Embarassed
Most of my milage is done on my 45 mile trip to work along the A4 from Chippenham to Newbury, an excellent road that every one should ride at least once.
The rest is usually around the North Wilts/Bath area.

If you live in london, there's some really nice roads in and around the outskirts of London. Try the 251 route along Totteridge/mill hill as there are plenty of twists and turns and blind corners. I guess i was the only biker to use this road as it was pretty deserted. Since my ped topped out at 45-50mph anyway, i could concentrate on my line more. Deacon's Hill Road in Elstree is another nice place and so is Hampsted Heath. I'm sure they're not as spectacular as the roads in Suffolk, Avon/Cotswolds or Wales, but when u live in a city constricted with dual carraigeways, such roads like these are well worth a look.

When i can be bothered, i disappear off into the Home Counties for 100 odd miles, once you get out of the suburbs, you cant really find a bad road in Beds, Bucks + Herts Smile
