Was wondering if you could help with a little problem, i've got a GPZ500s (EX500-D3) (1997 model) and need to clean out the carbs, but as i'm a newbie to motorcycles I thought I might just replace them with a new set and then tinker around and clean the old set in my own time.

I've seen a set online for an ER5 (2002 model) and was wondering if anyone could tell me whether they would fit on my bike and also if they could give me any words of advice on any problems I might face.

As far as I'm aware the ER5 carbs are different to the GPZ's, they'll most likely physically fit but you may end up with running probelms.

First GPZ500S and ER5 those are same engine

Their carbs are same KEIHIN CVK34 " of course some difference setting "

The important thing is don't waste money to buy the another set.

Carb main problem are " clogged and leak " that's all!!!

Most important thing is you have the " time "

At last can send you the Carb setting " GPZ500S ".
