Not much clearance between the pedals and the ground. Plenty of space for a bigger wheel though Wink

Karma that's fantastic.

How do the pedals turn though, are they bolted to the outside of the forks? Maybe I'm just really tired and hungover but I fail to see how the wheel turns? Shocked

I'm tempted to try this this afternoon but no doubt it'll fail somewhat dreadfully in comparison to your beast.

Nice one

Steve.

A mate of mine used to do unicycle trials, that shit was crazy.

EDIT: Nut welded into crank, not bolt. Laughing

Met this guy at work, he chopped up a BMX and rides it like that.

He said he use to have two wheels but he use to do crazy speed and stunts so he needs 1 wheel and no handles to calm him down.

Oddly enough...

I saw a guy on the A720 Edinburgh city bypass on a unicycle. He must have been doing something for charity although, you're not allowed on the bypass with a pedal bike.

I wonder if he made it to the other end.

Theres also a guy I see going up and down Leith Walk on one, I can't help but think, why not just get a bike? You look like a twat on that thing.

But then, each to their own and all that shiz.

Wink

There used to be a couple of guys near me who used unicycles. They were Swampy look-a-likes who thought you had to ride a unicycle to hug a tree.

Surely it'll just mean you're up a bit higher Smile.
I've got a 26" wheel 'mountain uni' (got after I bent my normal one) and it works fine.

Would these fit onto an axle and therefore eliminate the need to weld a nut into a crank?

I'm looking for an easy way out lol, and a cheaper alternative to a proper unicycle Laughing

Unicycle Crank Arms

Cheers,
Steve

No - they are just like normal crank arms as far as I know.
It's not like unicycles are massively expensive in the first place - £35 or so new for a cheap one, less second hand.

Very Happy
