I saw a video on youtube i think years ago.
It was guys on a track or something trying to destroy i think an arai helmet.
They was bouncing it off the concrete floor and into a metal rod in the concrete and it took them a good while to crack it.

I can't find the video anymore. Anyone remember this or have a link to it?
Thanks.

It's funny how he thought those "protective glasses" would help him if it hit him Laughing

But it does help show how good helmets are!

We used to do this when I worked at Motorcycle City.

A lot of customers would ride to the shop to buy a new helmet so they'd just leave the old one for us to dispose off.

A long chain with a heavy padlock was always entertaining as a club, but I once took one out on my bike to an industrial estate, held it in my outstretched hand then basically flew past a concrete wall at 70 or 80 and let the helmet smack into it. (letting go of it first obviously Laughing ).

Never managed to totally decimate one.

Actually, just watched that guy's video and his world record slingshot one and I have to say he has a real knack for making what should be entertaining, boring Laughing

Why not show us the damage to the helmet and the visor? In the world record one he doesn't even shoot anything with it, just fires it through a chronograph. Fucks sake, I want to see what it can do to a bloody pig's head or something, not what number it can produce on a screen Laughing

EDIT: Ok, scratch that, he does start breaking stuff in this one...

It smashed a perfect little hole in his window on the rebound, could quite easily have done so to his skull Razz I was tempted to have a go at building one of those sling shots, but i very much doubt they would be so effective with my pencil like arms pulling them back.
