Good gear shops in Lancs?

I'll be in lancs this weekend, in the rossendale valley area.

I'd like to get some gloves, perhaps some boots too. Are there any decent gear shops in the area?
I dont mind a bit of a travel to it, so long as its not to far.
Some good value products too would be nice, rather than the big money race stuff

You could try visorsdown in horwich, thats not too far away (17miles if you avoid the motorways).

They aren't exactly cheap cheap, prices tend to be average but seem to stock some of the lesser known brands (Tecknics, RST, wulf etc).
