I want an exhaust but not sure what to go for

I've been meaning to change from the standard for a while now but I haven't a clue which brand to go for. I'm only looking for a slip on, can't really afford a full system.

Akrapovic are on of the best brand of exhaust IMO, and that is almost half price seems like a fair bet to me.

On a modern generation sportsbike, you probably want a light weight exhaust, that is well made and that also looks good!

I'd only ever consider a Titanium, Carbon fibre or stainless steel exhaust can tbh, and IMO on a nice bike id stick to one of the big well known exhaust manufacturer's that have a high quality reputation. I would never put a £50 can on a nice sportsbike as it ruins the looks and quality image somewhat.

As for features then having a re-buildable silencer is a good move if it's a race can, and for road and track use having one with a removeable baffle in the end is sometimes a good move. Having said that a quality race only can should be slightly lighter than one thats road legal but can be converted into a full straight through race exhaust by pulling out the baffle insert.
