I suppose so- I was in London this week and I noticed the lights there take AGES to change, up here they change really quickly generally.

That is deliberate to make congestion worse. Once the congestion charging comes in they will put the traffic light timing back to how it was, the queues the traffic lights caused will disappear and then they will claim the congestion charging was a success.

How else do you think they are going to fob this off on Londoners. After all traffic levels in London have barely changed in a decade (and only changed a little in the last 20 years) yet congestion has got far worse.

All the best

I have the oposite problem on my RS125, when i am changing from 1st into 2nd it always finds neutral and causes the bike to rev very loudly  I have to tap it up twice to get from 1st to 2nd and tap it down twice when going from 2nd to 1st!

Hi

That is not normal. Make sure your clutch is adjusted correctly and the oil level is correct. It is not that uncommon that people manage to find neutral rather than second (on any bike) but that is normall fixed by adjusting the gear change pedal down a bit

just give it a solid nudge up and there is no reason it should go into neutral

you will never go from first to third, so give it some force :)

Hi

The problem is that normally you just go straight into second, which is even more useless than sitting in first Laughing
