TBH i think most people overkill with HDR.

Well, I only did my CBT 2 years ago from next month so not much of a history as of yet.
2006 Yamaha Cygnus 125:

Bought this because I kept missing out on bikes I actually wanted, Uni was starting soon and I managed to grab it for £600 with plenty of tax and test left. Ended up with electrical issues so I sold it on for £700 
2007 Yamaha DT RE 125:

Passed my test on this, miss it  Sold it on for more than I paid for it.
2006 Suzuki DR-Z 400 SM:

(Still haven't got round to taking new pics of it)
Gonna hang on to this at least until my 33bhp restriction is up. Should easily get my money back on this one if I sell it at the right time.

Out of interest, did you have difficulties with the circled bolt? I swear they are impossible to get out - ended up cutting the mount off the frame when I was breaking my GS. |

Cool thread.
Anyway..
Gilera Stalker SKP50, worst moped ever invented, handled like A boat, fastest top end out of all our (my mates) 'peds though. Can't be arsed uploading A photo to photobucket, but this is exactly what it looks like;

Next, my GS500, which I bought on the day I passed my Mod 2, rode for A year. Loved it, then liked it less and less until I despised it for just being A poor bike. Great for commuting mind.

A VERY short bike history for me, with only 2 bikes in the 5 years I've been riding...
My old GPZ when I first got it ... and "ratted" just before I sold it
and my current Bandit when I first bought it ... and when I fitted the new can
