...bicycle!
Left the bicycle and motorbike chained together at the flat whilst away on business, and on my return the locks are cut and my bicycle's missing!
Motorbike's totally fine, guess the alarm spooked them? Either way I feel the need to buy some more security for the proper bike. Can anyone recommend me a good disk lock? |

I'd keep the pushknacker inside. If it is used for commuting then Almac do a pushknacker chain. |

Almax series 3 chain is pretty indestructible, will probably cost you as much as a replacement bike though
Always figured a disk lock is just a disk lock, they are either going to put the bike in a van, not notice the lock and drop the bike on the drive because of it, or notice it and leave the bike. Can't see somebody actually trying to get a disk lock off. ____________________ I am a bellend, I am a man of constant sorrow, I am a gummy bear, I am a rock. |

I'm loving the pragmasis chains at the moment.
I'm not convinced there's much between them and Almax, but pragmasis seem a mite cheaper and do a 'carry chain' size (only 13mm!) which seems like the sensible compromise- It's all very well buying something that looks like an anchor chain, but it does no good if it's too much of a ball ache to take with you!.
Also, cracking customer service (emails answered at half eleven at night!). ____________________ '11 CBF1000A, '99 C90, '98 CB500
silky666: He rode amazingly well considering his bike is the weight of a small van and had slicks on. |

Thank you, this one looks like a great compromise: https://www.torc-anchors.com/proddetail.php?prod=P16-x.x-Untouchable
I can use it as a disc lock when I'm out and about and I have a Squire padlock kicking around somewhere |

I have the 16mm protector chain ordered it a few weeks ago. Ill second the great customer service comment when I rang up they didn't have the chain in the right length that I wanted and even though they only do cutting on a monday and thursday in lots, he offered to do it for me that day if it was urgent.
Anyway yeah the chain looks the part and the untouchable lock looks pretty unbreakable to. |
