I've been reading a couple of discussions here and found it a bit more interesting than most bike forums which only seem to have the same old boring "Which 600 should I buy?" type threads, backpatting threads and an apparent general ban on any proper debate or filthy language when of course, everyone knows swearing is funny, as are vicious arguments.

I'm a guy from South Wales, 23 years old and ride an old Hornet 600... pleased to to meet you. Thumbs Up

It's totally untrue, all these remarks about us being sheep shaggers, except for the occasional good looking one of course!

When My Grandad died, they released his war record to us.
Aparently he ran away from the valleys when he was a kid, and worked as a bouncer in a Cardif brothel.....
He then went to London to make his fortune, and ended up signing up (under-age) for the grenadier guards.
His original application was in the paperwork, & 'Occupation' had been filled in as 'Bouncer, Dock-side Hostelry' Cardif, but crossed out and replaced with the word 'shepherd' Laughing
This is NOT a joke!

There was once a Welshman with a dog, a horse and a sheep and one day his daughter brought home a new boyfriend who earned his money as a stage ventriloquist. Eager to impress his potential in-law on a little tour of the farm, they came across the animals.

Boyfriend : "I can talk to animals don't you know"

Farmer : "Rubbish"

Boyfriend : "Seriously, watch this"

The young man leans over the gate to the horse

Boyfriend : "Hiya horse, how's life... does your keeper treat you well?"

Horse : "Woah hi, no-ones ever bothered trying to talk to me before! The old farmer treats me well, such nice food and a warm barn, I'll die a happy horse"

Farmer : "Christ! that's astonishing, truly impressive"

The young man then turns to the dog

Boyfriend : " Alright pooch, how about you, do you lead a good life?"

Dog : "Thanks for asking butt, yeah ever since I was a little pup my owner has taken me for two long walks every day and feeds me tasty leftovers whenever he can"

The farmer takes a step back, pale in the face and shaking his head as he notices the young man taking a step towards the sheep pen

Farmer : "DON’T LISTEN TO A WORD THAT FUCKER SAYS, HE’S A LYING LITTLE BASTARD!!"

I'm living in the valleys at the moment (Blackwood / Fleur-De-Lis) but having been living in and around Cardiff for the last 5 years or so.

Any other Welshies?

I was born in England but have lived near Cardigan for just over 20 years.
The only good thing to come out of England is the road to Wales!https://serve.mysmiley.net/angel/littleangel.gif

Very attractive.

If you went north up the 487 you will have passed me, you can't really miss me, I'm hacking around on an '80 400 Superdream!
Apart fromt the 487 you can't make any great speed around here of course, not on our roads.
I had a Buzzard flop over a hedge at head height in front of me a while back, as I ducked it looked like a 747!

born and bred in the vicinity of cardiff, moved just over the water for work but typically can be found wobbling around the area on a white XJ6-S most weekends
