Hi guys, as you can see kinda a newbie to the forum,

not really i problem just wandering if theres any IOS wizards who know any thing about a JB for the 4.0.2 on 3GS
my sister thought it would be fun to stop me JB-ing my phone ¬_¬

any help appreciated.

There won't be a JB for 4.02 but a low level JB is around the corner for 4.1 that Apple won't be able to fix with software apparently. Be careful if you want to unlock as updating to 4.1 updates the baseband.

Can't you just downgrade back to 3.1.3 (or whatever) and re-jailbreak it there?

Ahh cheers mate - errrm im currently running on 4.0.2 8A400

but everytime i connect to iTunes it asks me if i was to upgrade to 4.1 :S

if i put it in recovery i loose all my music, contacts and apps + it looks quite hard to follow

i usually JB but using Cydia, Redsn0w, Winterboard & Installous

You can downgrade if you have your SHSH blobs on file with Cydia.

Are 3G users still able to downgrade like last time & is it only the newer iphones that need to do these SHSH blobs?

Not used the iphone for a month or so, is the current JB 4.0.1 still then?
