Managed to get mod 1 booked for the 1st of October....

Had my second lesson yesterday, and looked at tons of vids on youtube.

Mixed feelings, one minute I'm thinking peice of cake but the next I'm bricking it.

Think the speed trap on a 125cc is the bit that's getting to me, that and remembering all the life savers etc.....

Couldnt be that hard could it? Lol

Also is the NI test any different as we have a habit of doing our own thing over here.....

I'm guessing so as you can't book your Mod 1 without passing it.

Just relax, for the speed test keep it in 2nd and screw the arse out of it Thumbs Up

I suppose I cheated using a 500 but I'm doing direct access, I had practice on a CG125 which was slower than my own and still got 55Kph after a few runs but you do need to lean it over with some confidence to get the 'slingshot' out of the corner, It's fun Mr. Green

Look over both shoulders before you move, every time even right at the end like I didn't Embarassed

In the uk the only shoulder check that will fail you on it's own is the Life Saver just before you turn into the U turn.

Embarassed

Didn't realise that, I thought you could do them all in a week, guess I was wrong again.

Cheers guys, got the theory last week. 100% on the multiple choice but nearly fluffed the hazard perception, got no points in one clip for clicking too much, even though I know I didn't :s

But hey its passed.

So is the NI mod1 the same?

Btw posting on mobile browser which won't let me rate your posts sorry!

I'm not sure that it is different in NI for the mods. But good luck and if you look on youtube there is a set of vids for mod 2 with a NI instructor.

Sorry I cant be of more help.

Good luck!

the only hard-ish part of the mod 1 is the slow manouvers, just practice them like fuck and you'll breeze it. as everone else said just blast the speed trap in second, you cant fail for makin noice lol
