Most of the overtly camp gays I've known have been really nice people (so long as you don't cross them up). I can't stand Graham Norton but I suspect he's quite a sweetie beyond his professional guise.

I like Graham Norton and the guy who used to be Lilly Savage ( can't think of his name at the moment though)

Russel Brand is another one who I can't stand.

I quite like Alan Carr, but I dont like the blatant social engineering where, we have to have gay comedians getting the top jobs to make us more accepting of gay people.

Gok is a step too far. I'm sure he makes gay blokes cringe, its just women who like him. The other day, he did a makeover on some poor straight bloke, and dressed him up with a man bag and a daft scarf wrapped round is neck loads of time. Telling the guy he looked much better now (sporting the camp look).

I like Simon Amstell on Buzzcocks. Used to think he was a bit of a twat on the kids shows, but even then he used to take the piss with the guests.

Looking forward to Ricky Gervais's new stand up too.

I find it hard to think of anyone more I'd like to put a cricket bat to than Alan Carr, I caught 10 seconds of his show where he was going ape shit with Kylie coming on. It was fucking ridiculous and within moments I hated myself and this fucking miserable existence and prayed for god to just fucking take me now. Then I managed to switch channel and I felt fine.

When I were still doing event stuff, I ran show with him (can't have been more than a month before he started popping up on TV).

Camp as christmas off-stage as well, but really, really nice into the bargain. Can't say that I enjoy his TV stuff, but his stand up is well worth a watch.

The chat show walks a really thin line between being quite funny and simperingly cringe-worthy. For example; Kylie = Simpering. Justin Beiber = Really funny.

His stand up show is funny.

Gok Wan is a strange one, I can't stand his shows (or any of that ilk) but he's ok in interviews, he seems like a good laugh. I can't be arsed with all that metrosexual me-me-me bullshit though. As I understand it, the people he has on his 'fashion' shows are turds, doesn't matter how much you polish them up and apply the glitter; they are still turds.
