Obviously I need to show my examiner that I am performing mirror checks.... My bike only has one mirror! Would this be a problem on my test, or can I just mirror check with the one?

Assume the worst mate and try getting a mirror fitted. I'm sure you can get a 'clamp-on' one off ebay...

It's legal, but I wouldn't want the examiner seeing I only have one mirror if I were in your position.

Unfortunately the Module 2 test is subject to human opinion, as is any other test... You want a good first impression and having one mirror I don't think would make a good one.

Yet if you still know your stuff, you can pass. Surely it's worth the extra tenner for another mirror though? People can argue that there wont be any opinion change but there will be.

How can it be legal to only have 1 mirror? Surely the law requires two?

Surely your examiner will fail your bike as not being road worthy.

If not, I would consider it dodgy as you surely will be not looking in the mirror on whatever side your mirror is missing.

Legally you don't need any fitted, but for taking a test I would have both mirrors fitted Thumbs Up

You don't need both mirrors. I passed my mod 2 with the left one missing( some scrote snapped it off days before my test). As long as you do all your checks and be very aware of what's on the side of the missing mirror you should be fine. Examiner didn't say anything about it.

Haha, i did mine on a 6v CG, and my examiner said that in sunlight, sometimes the indicators wernt bright enough, so he just said you can stick your arms out if you want.

Also, instructor said (i usually check just one mirror) to do the action for checking both, even if you dont do it.. just look like your are
