crf450r oil???????

just a quick one to see what works best for people on crf450r 02

i bought the bike 2 months ago it has a rekluse and new piston and rings and stainless valves it starts 2nd kick and goes like stink i did an oil change on it last week after 1 big ride out it had lost no oil at all not knowing what typ the previous bloke used i use the v expencive silkoline 4t in the engien side and silkoline in the tranny side the problem now is that the rekluse clutch seems to slip not lots but enuff to anoy and when returning home i noticd the engien oil was a little low (compaird to when i set off ) anyone know of any oils that will stop these issues for me .

just tryd them on thumper talk..................... its all brands of oil we cant get in the uk i dont recognise any of them any crf 450r owners pls help

when did you post on tt and where?
from what i gather, you can use most diesel synth's.

rotella is the oil recommended by rekluse and its made by shell - but since you cant get that in the uk, your gonna have to settle for something like Shell Helix Diesel ULTRA for your tranny.

i didnt need to post someone had allready asked the question and the answer was to use rottella ,and as u say i cant get it over hear .....so you are 100% that the shell diesell will work for me?
