Always happy to see a new tattoo.

But I think the biggest fail was getting a girls name tattooed on you. Second worst thing you can do, after marrying one.

This interests me.

I also have a tat in need of covering. Carpe Diem on my left arm, not too big so hoping it's doable. I want a Koi Carp swimming upstream.

[Edited some absolute twoddle out haha]

Let us know how it goes and post pics when it's done chap!! Karma

Cheers,
Steve.

As a self confessed tattoo nut I'd love to see the finished work.

I was one of those people who said I would NEEEEVER get a girl's name on me, it's so stupid. But when you're crazy in love and desperate to make things work you do stupid things... Now the bitch won't even talk to me and a couple of weeks ago, for the first time since our break up a girl asked me what it was when I dropped my pants which was a bit awkward.
It's time to close that chapter Thumbs Up

You sure she was referring to that tattoo when she said that?

Cover up the E with the koi carp so it just says Carp Diem.

Now, would it be seize the fish, or fish the day?
Shocked

haha.

I did want the rest of the quote on my arm, 'Carpe diem quam minimum credula postero' or whatever it is.

But then decided against it since my current 'carpe diem' has put me off getting any more writing done. It's sh*t.

Laughing

Tattoos can be a touchy subject cause if you are super excited about it and somebody else finds it ridiculous...
I had to wait a week for the guy to draw mine up from some images I gave him, and I was worried it wouldn't live up to my expectations, but when I saw it I could hardly speak, it surpassed my expectations by a MILE Very Happy

Covering up one cheesy over-done tattoo with another one, I see Neutral Laughing

Well that was painful Laughing
Unfortunately you can still see the writing but I think he did a good job of distorting it, and someone who hasn't seen the original will probably not "see" it.

Imo, it sticks out like a sore thumb, but as long as you like it thats all that matters!

i personaly would of gone for something with more heavy shading, and added color to make the background stand out less.

but, as long as your happy thats all that matters! tattoos are far too much of a fashion accessory, should be personal tbh.

That's an extremely fucking awful tattoo. He hasn't done a cover up at all, just done another tattoo over the top that looks like a really bad cover up.
